Classes
| Classes- please sign up for our e-mails- we e-mail out class descriptions and photos. Scrap Yard Class Policies 1. All classes are BYOB - Bring your own basics. Adhesives- tape runner, glue dots, glue stick, dimensional dots, Tacky tape, scissors, cutter, pencil, anything consumable except the paper, which we provide. Sorry we do not supply these necessities but they can be purchased at class. We will include a list of what is required on your class confirmation sheet and you can purchase it ahead of time or come 10 minutes early for the class. 2. Scrap Yard club MEMBERS get $5 discount on class fees. If your membership is a family membership (2 persons residing in the same household) you each get the class discount. Age 14 and over for classes please. 3. We require pre-registration AND pre-payment on ALL classes. Please cancel at least 48 hours before the class, as we spend time and money to prep the class materials for you. No refunds available 48 hours or less before a class - we will give you the prepared materials for the missed class. TO CANCEL- Call 467-1942 (store) or e-mail scrapyard@skyweb.ca for cancellations, or drop into the store. CANCELLATIONS must be at LEAST 48 hours before the class start time. A copy of our cancellation policy is given when you register. We will not refund class fees for no-shows or cancellations less than 48 hours before a class. No credit notes will be given for missed classes, nor are class fees tranferrable to another class. No exceptions. You can send another person in your place if you inform us of the change. We will now take registrations over the phone and require credit card payment at time of registration. We mail out your receipt and our cancellation policy if there is sufficient time (4 business days) for it to reach you before the class. If not, your receipt will be available for pickup at the class. We will verbally tell you what you need to bring, and refer you to our cancellation policy when you register on the phone. 4. We reserve the right to cancel classes with insufficient registrations. We will NOT run a class with one participant. We will cancel at least 24 hours before a class if there are not enough people registered. We will call and/or email you. A complete refund will be given if we have to cancel. |
