Stonewall Scrapaganza #5     Saturday, October 18, 2008

Location: New Life Church, Hwy #67 east of Stonewall (15 minutes north
of Winnipeg)   Hours 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  (NOTE- we have extended our
day to 12 hours)

Scrap Yard will be hosting another fabulous day of scrapbooking, card
making, shopping and socializing! The day features awesome food (2
meals, beverages & snacks), one class, a make and take, trading post,
shopping on site and a shuttle to the Scrap Yard store in downtown
Stonewall, awesome goodie bags, and many many wonderful prizes to
win. Registration starts April 12. We will draw for 1 FREE early bird
registration ($45.00) from all the early bird registrations received by July
31, 2008. Registrations received after July 31, 2008  pay the full fee of
$50.00.

NOTE- there will be NO children under age 12 allowed at this event, (except nursing babies
can be brought in to feed only and must leave right after eating).  No on-site caregivers are
allowed either as our liability insurance only covers paid participants in our event.  Children
12 and older must pay the registration fee and must remain with parent at all times while in
the building.

We will then send out a receipt plus another set of our rules and information which we ask
you to read.  A $30 NSF fee will apply for all cheques not honored, and a $10.00 cancellation
fee applies as per our dates on the rules. NO refunds past October 1, 2008 unless we can fill
your spot from our waiting list, or you can send another person in your place.  We MUST have
your replacement's name before Oct 18, 2008, the date of Scrapaganza 5.

Info and rules

Stonewall Scrapaganza 5,    Saturday October 18, 2008 PLEASE READ  and keep this
information sheet.

1. The event will occur Saturday October 18, 2008 at New Life Church, on Highway #67, 1 mile
east of Stonewall Manitoba.  Hours– 8:00AM- 8:00PM..  Price is $50.00 per attendee.  Early bird
discount is outlined on the registration form, and on #10 of this info sheet.   We accept
personal cheques mailed in, and in person at Scrap Yard– Visa, Mastercard and debit . NSF
FEE is $30.00 both for registrations and on-site at the event.  On– site– most vendors do not
accept cheques and none have debit, so it is best to bring cash.

2. This scrapbooking (crafting) event is sponsored by a committee of local crafters from

3. Organizers of the this Stonewall Scrapaganza  event, the volunteers, teachers or cooks,
Scrap Yard,  nor New Life Church are NOT responsible in any way for persons or their
personal effects at, on  the way to and from, or during  this event. We urge you to lock your
car in the parking lot, and secure your valuables while in the building.

5. Scrappers can come into the building at no earlier than 8:00 AM on April 12  and must be
ready to leave at 8:00 PM. The church requires us to be out so they can set up for Sunday
services.  We will not reserve table spots, 1st come , 1st choice.  4 persons per round table
and two per 8 foot table please.  You can bring your own table but must set up in a area
designated as such– it will be in one of the classrooms of the school portion of the church.  
Please let us know if you are bringing your own table.  Sorry no discounts if you bring your
own table.

6. No children under age 12 are allowed to attend, and all children over 12 must be
accompanied by a parent at all times. Sorry, nursing babies may be brought in to feed only,
then must leave.  Our insurance policy does not cover unpaid participants.

7. We reserve the right to cancel the event and give full refunds if there is not sufficient
registration. We will re-schedule the event if it storming.  Call 467-7232 early (6:00 AM) on Oct
18 for official confirmation that the event will be postponed due to weather . Full refund will
be given if you can’t attend the reschedule date.

8. Event refund policy– We will refund all but $10.00 of your fee if we are notified before Oct
1, 2008  by e-mail or phone call that you cannot attend.  
NO refunds for non-attendance after
this date unless we are sold out and WE can re-sell your spot
.  NO exceptions. NO refunds for
no shows due to illness, etc as we have purchased food, prizes, class materials etc based on
numbers of attendees. Find a person to take your place, or call us and we might be able to fill
your spot from the waiting list if we have one.  If you find someone to take your spot we must
be notified of their name before Scrapaganza takes place.

If the weather is bad the day of the event, call 467-7232 to see if the event is cancelled for
the day. In case of inclement weather, the event will be re-scheduled.   If you can not attend
on the re-schedule date we will provide a complete refund. We reserve the right to cancel
the event and give full refunds if we have to cancel for any reason.  (such as insufficient
registration or illness).

7. We will do all we can to make this a fun day of scrapbooking.  We will provide a class and
make and takes, a  few small shops, shuttle to the Stonewall Scrap Yard Store with great
sales, a  goodie bag and contests. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or merchandise.
Prizes can be picked up at Scrap Yard if you are not around for the draws. We will also have a
trading post where if you leave an unwanted item, you can take an item.  Very popular—bring
your unwanted scrapping items for trading.


8. Please respect the church property.  Waste receptacles will be provided.

9. We will be serving a morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and  supper.  Sorry, we are not
able to accommodate various dietary concerns, such as vegetarian, low calorie, lactose
intolerant , vegetarian etc at the event.  Please bring your own food for your special diet.
There are restaurants and grocery stores available in Stonewall. Sorry, no refunds for the
food portion of registration if you choose not to eat the provided food

PLEASE NOTE– this is a nut-free event.  All prepared foods have no nuts included. One of the
organizers has an airborne allergy to peanuts. Please do not bring any peanut products.


10. Registrations– we provide Early bird discounts if you pay early.  We use these funds to
purchase prizes, class supplies, goodie bag items, rent tables, pay church deposits, pay for
event insurance, order baking etc etc etc.  Sorry, if payments are not received by the
deadlines on the registration form, the discounts are NOT available to you. The stated dates
are FIRM.


July 31, 2008,  deadline for early bird registrations.  Payment MUST accompany the
registration, and must not be post-dated.  NSF fee is $30.00.


After July 31, 2008, the registration fee is $50.00.


ALL PAYMENTS MUST accompany registration forms now. Sorry we don’t take verbal
registrations, as we are now running full with a waiting list.
